The Shift2SDV project proudly participated in The Autonomous 2025 in Vienna, contributing to the global dialogue on the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) of the Future.
During the event, Dr. Michael Karner presented the project’s vision of a common software framework and middleware architecture that enables continuous integration, validation, and over-the-air updates—ensuring that vehicles remain agile, safe, and secure throughout their lifecycle.
The event also offered a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow EU-funded projects and exchange ideas on advancing software-defined and AI-driven mobility. Projects represented included HAL4SDV, AIthena, EdgeAI-Trust, NEMO, ARCHIMEDES, A-IQ Ready, AI4CSM, and AutoDevSafeOps.
The discussions at The Autonomous 2025 reinforced the shared commitment of European initiatives to shaping a safe, intelligent, and connected mobility ecosystem for the future.
